Spring Fever 2010

Turkeys are gobbling, kids are getting restless and Bighorn Youth Camps are under way....

We unvailed the New Bighorn Outdoors DVD, Real Deal Whitetails #2 at the Ohio Deer and Turkey Expo in March. I guess we were right in thinking that this is the best quality DVD we have ever put together. We are getting tons of feedback from its viewers telling us it's the most awesome deer DVD they have seen yet. Thank you all.
We just returned home from the Florida Bighorn Youth Adventure Camp. We had 53 kids come out and enjoy the weekend. All the volunteers made sure that all the kids got the huntin bug and magically a lot of the parents are getting into it also. All the good folks of Myakka City pitched in to make this one of our best camps ever. Cant wait till next year... Tim Seitzinger and myself managed to arrow a couple Osceolas and Wild Hogs out of the Rhino Blinds with are new Alpines while we were there. We wrapped up the trip a little early and got back to Ohio just in time to take some kids out for Youth Turkey Season. A few kids scored and a few missed and a few went with me and didnt even see a bird. Here it is Monday, opening day for us big boys and I'm in the office trying to get caught up on work. Maybe tomorrow I can get out and wack the second bird of this years Archery Grand Slam out of a Rhino Blind.
We leave on the 27th to take part in the second Annual Kicking Beards Pro Am Celebrity Turkey hunt to raise money for the Kicking Bear Youth Program. After that it's straight over to our little lease in Western Kansas to try and wack a few Rio Longbeards and get a few stand sites ready for this fall.
The Ohio, Bighorn Outdoors Youth Camp is coming up June 18th - 20th at Ohio Monster Bucks. Be sure to get your essays in early. This will again be our biggest and best Youth Camp and we want to share it with you. Email me if you have any questions, want to volunteer or would like to make a donation. Have a great turkey season everybody. Hope to see ya on the trail...
